Temple’s Gesher Program,
Education for All Ages
We Teach and Learn
The Temple’s Education program is called “Gesher,” which is the Hebrew word for bridge. It is a bridge between the Temple and the home, a bridge to Jewish history and the future, a bridge between young and old.
Gesher is an all-inclusive education program. The Sunday sessions include the very young with “Shalom Yeladim” for three year olds, and continues through the post-confirmation class in twelfth grade.
Mid-week classes focus on intensive Hebrew and Judaic study for grades three through five. Upon completion of the Gesher program, students are eligible for a community sponsored trip to Israel.
The congregation offers comprehensive studies leading to Bar and Bat Mitzvah.
Throughout the year, Gesher also provides informative adult education opportunities.
